beach glass earrings – wire wrap – Argentium silver – turquoise blue
This beach glass is a vibrant bright blue – almost turquoise coloured.
I carefully measure Argentium silver wire to wrap around the each Beach glass piece, then cut it to length. I solder these wires together to form the back. Then lay the Beach glass on the wire shape and half wrap the wire around the glass. Now I can trim the wire to its best length. Using a very soft flame I melt each of the wires ends to a soft ball. Lots of cleaning and polishing and I can set the Glass into it’s wire form, and add the hand made ear wire. Sparkly, lightweight, and beautiful!
I have specially made these earrings for Beach weddings – perfect for the Bride or Bridesmaids on a Destination wedding.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 940. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
I hand make all the earwires and posts with Argentium Silver, so all my earrings are nickel-free.
