Freeform Circle Earrings – Argentium Silver – Sun Accent
These Freeform Circle Earrings – Argentium Silver – Sun Accent feature a hollow boulder suspended below a textured silver sun. I shape Argentium silver wire into a rough circular outline first. Then I fuse additional pieces to create a permanent, irregular freeform circle.
After refining the boulder, I form a solid disc of silver and melt the edges slightly before engraving a sun pattern. As a result, the textured sun contrasts with the open circle below. The solid disc anchors the form, while the hollow boulder adds lightness and depth.
Each pair is handmade from solid Argentium silver. Because the circle is built by hand, every boulder shape is slightly different.
