brass boulder on chain earrings
Handmade from solid Brass and Argentium silver wire. I wrap the wire to form a rough hollow boulder. Then I carefully fuse each one by adding molten Argentium silver. These earrings are dangling from Sterling silver Rolo chain on an Argentium silver ear wire.
Earrings are 4.4 cm long by 1.5 cm wide. They weigh 2.7 grams.
The shiny Brass is not coated and will naturally tarnish – if tarnish is not desired you can use a polishing cloth or fresh lime to return copper to bright and shiny. Antique Brass is permanently antiqued and will not require cleaning. Brass with a patina is coated to preserve the patina and should not be cleaned.
