Byzantine Bracelet – Medium – Argentium Silver
🔨 STRUCTURE * I Know * CLEAN LINES AND ANGLES – Inventive – Powerful – Bold – Connective
The Argentium Silver Byzantine Bracelet – Medium (18-3.5) blends crisp geometry with a smooth, silky drape. “Byzantine” is a classic chain-maille pattern built from interlocking rings arranged in dense, repeating units. In this medium 18-3.5 variant, the proportions create a balanced width that looks refined yet strong. Because the chain is woven in bright Argentium Silver (940), it keeps a clean white lustre and resists tarnish. Choose the length that fits you best; it layers beautifully or stands alone.
Design & feel
First, I hand-cut uniform jump rings from solid Argentium silver. Next, I weave the Byzantine units one by one so every link sits true and aligned. Then I finish the ends, fit the clasp, and polish the chain to a mirror glow. As a result, the bracelet feels fluid on the wrist while reading structured and intentional.
About the weave
I offer three weights across our line: Fine (20-3), Medium (18-3.5), and Heavy (14-5). The numbers refer to ring size and ratio; they determine the final chain width and feel. Choose 18-3.5 if you want a versatile, everyday width with a confident profile.

Materials & care
Argentium Silver (940) includes a touch of germanium, so it stays bright, hard, and tarnish-resistant. It is always nickel-free and hypoallergenic for everyday comfort. To care for your bracelet, wash gently with mild soap and water, pat dry with a soft cloth, and avoid harsh dips or ultrasonic cleaners.
Learn more (making process)
First, I coil and precision-cut rings for consistency. Next, I weave the Byzantine units in sequence, checking alignment as the chain grows. Then I work-harden, refine, and polish the links for strength and shine. Finally, I tune the clasp so the closure feels secure and smooth.
