copper and silver teardrop earrings – antique
The teardrop shape is cut from solid copper, then textured. With a punch out detail and then a strip of Argentium silver is fused to the surface. Hand stamped with a different pattern every time.
Earrings are 5.2 cm long by 2.2 cm wide. They weigh 4.2 grams.
All of our Copper pieces start with solid copper sheet or wire. Copper is a pure metal – 100% copper. No alloys means solid copper is always nickel free and is perfect for people with metal allergies. Shiny or antique – copper is always beautiful.
The shiny Copper is not coated and will naturally tarnish – if tarnish is not desired you can use a polishing cloth or fresh lime to return copper to bright and shiny. Antique Copper is permanently antiqued and will not require cleaning. Copper with a patina is coated to preserve the patina and should not be cleaned.
