Copper Earrings – Argentium Silver Large Etched Hoop
A large solid copper disc forms the base of this design. I hand-etch radiating lines on one side to create directional light. On the reverse, I emboss a net texture to add depth and contrast.
I solder a solid Argentium silver earwire and catch directly to the disc. As a result, the structure feels secure and balanced. The wide surface reflects warmth, while the etched rays create visual movement.
The scale is bold yet wearable. Meanwhile, the mixed metals create contrast between warm copper and bright silver. If you’d like to explore similar forming and texturing techniques, visit my

Design & Feel
These earrings belong to the CONVERGE collection. They reflect balance between surface texture and clean structure. The etched rays create energy, while the net texture adds depth.

I cut and texture the copper disc by hand. Then I solder the silver earwire and catch before refining and polishing the final surface.
