copper & silver twist hoop earrings
I start with solid ROUND Copper wire and solid SQUARE Argentium silver wire – and twist them together. After I have gently melted them together to hold their shape – I can cut and bend them into a design.
In this case – I have made a medium size hoop earring. Beautiful – shiny- unique!
Earrings are 3.5 cm long by 0.3 cm wide. They weigh 10.0 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
The shiny Copper is not coated and will naturally tarnish – if tarnish is not desired you can use a polishing cloth or fresh lime to return copper to bright and shiny. Antique Copper is permanently antiqued and will not require cleaning. Copper with a patina is coated to preserve the patina and should not be cleaned.
