Copper Square Earrings – Post
I start with a heavy sheet of solid copper and cut small square forms by hand. Then I etch each surface to create texture and depth. After that, I dap the squares into a gentle curve to soften the edges and add dimension.
Next, I solder solid Argentium silver posts to the back of each square. I finish the earrings with Argentium silver butterfly backs for strength and comfort. The contrast between warm copper and bright silver keeps the design clean and balanced.
Because these Copper Square Earrings are made from solid copper sheet, the surface will naturally deepen in tone over time. However, you can restore brightness with a polishing cloth or fresh lime if desired.
