Description
This Crescent Moon Necklace is crafted from solid Argentium silver and etched with a fine linear texture. The clean, hand-etched finish catches the light softly, giving the moon shape a quiet shimmer. Each crescent is formed by hand and attached to a sterling silver Rolo chain, creating a simple and balanced design.
Design & Feel
The etched surface reflects light in subtle lines, adding movement and depth. The crescent’s smooth edge keeps it comfortable against the skin, while the Rolo chain brings an elegant balance between strength and delicacy. Every pendant shows slight variation from the hand-etching process, making each one unique.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat each pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer that strengthens Argentium silver and resists tarnish. After heating, I lightly polish the surface to reveal contrast between bright and matte etched areas. The result is a piece that keeps its soft shine with very little care.
