Freeform Circle Earrings – Argentium Silver – Double Boulder
These Freeform Circle Earrings – Argentium Silver – Double Boulder are formed from layered Argentium wire. I shape small and medium circular frames first. Then I add and fuse additional wire until each hollow boulder form becomes solid and permanent.
After refining the shapes, I connect the two circles with handmade jump rings. As a result, the double structure moves freely while remaining grounded. The fused texture adds depth and subtle sparkle. Meanwhile, the open centres keep the earrings visually light.
Each pair develops differently as I build the surface detail by hand. Therefore, no two double boulders are identical. The layered wire reflects light softly against the open negative space.

I build each circle individually first. Then I fuse the details, connect the forms, and polish the final surface.
