Freeform Circle Pendant – Double Hollow Boulder – Argentium Silver
Description
This Freeform Circle Pendant is handmade from Argentium silver wire. I bend and fuse the wire into two irregular hollow boulder shapes. While the silver is still hot, I guide each curve until the forms flow naturally. After the shapes are complete, I connect them with handmade rings and add a custom bail for the chain. The finished pendant feels open and full of movement.
Design & Feel
The double boulder design feels light but strong. Its fused edges catch light, and the hollow centers add balance and space. Because I shape each pendant by hand, every one turns out a little different. The surface glows softly, showing the flow of molten silver frozen in time.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the silver to form the protective germanium oxide layer that defines Argentium 940. This step strengthens the metal and slows tarnish. Afterward, I polish the edges to highlight contrast and leave the inner texture natural.
