Freeform Circle Pendant – Double Hollow Boulder – Argentium Silver
Description
This pendant is made from Argentium silver wire that I shape, wrap, and fuse into two hollow boulder forms. I heat the wire until it softens, then guide it to create small, irregular shapes that stay light but strong. After forming the boulders, I join them with handmade rings and add a custom bail for the chain. The open design gives the pendant flow and movement.
Design & Feel
Each fused circle catches the light, adding brightness and sparkle. The hollow centers keep the pendant airy while the fused edges bring strength and balance. Because I shape each boulder by hand, no two pendants are ever the same. Each one carries its own natural rhythm.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer that protects Argentium silver. This process strengthens the surface and slows tarnish. After heating, I polish the raised edges for shine and leave the natural textures visible for contrast.
