Freeform Circle Pendant – Triple Hollow Boulder – Argentium Silver
Description
This pendant is made from Argentium silver wire that I wrap, shape, and fuse into hollow boulder forms. I heat the silver until it begins to flow, then guide it to keep each curve natural. After forming the shapes, I connect them with handmade rings and add a custom bail for the chain. As a result, the triple boulder pendant feels open and full of motion.
Design & Feel
The freeform circles look light yet strong. Their fused edges reflect light from every angle, while the hollow centers give the pendant balance. Because of the way I melt and shape the silver, every piece turns out slightly different. This makes each pendant one of a kind.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the pendant to form the germanium oxide layer that protects Argentium silver. This step hardens the surface and slows tarnish. Afterward, I polish the bright areas and leave the natural textures visible. Therefore, the pendant keeps its clean shine and soft dimension over time.
