fused boulder earrings – small
Handmade from solid Copper, Argentium silver and Brass wire. I wrap the wire to form a rough hollow boulder – interlinking them as I go. Then I carefully fuse each one by adding molten Argentium silver. They are permanently linked thru each other – but not attached. Lots of movement and play!
These are the smaller of the boulder earrings – Earrings are 6.3 cm long by 2.2 cm wide. They weigh 6.5 grams
All of our Copper pieces start with solid copper sheet or wire. Copper is a pure metal – 100% copper. No alloys means solid copper is always nickel free and is perfect for people with metal allergies. Shiny or antique – copper is always beautiful.
The shiny Copper is not coated and will naturally tarnish – if tarnish is not desired you can use a polishing cloth or fresh lime to return copper to bright and shiny. Antique Copper is permanently antiqued and will not require cleaning. Copper with a patina is coated to preserve the patina and should not be cleaned.
