gemstone earrings – crescent moon post – Argentium silver
These are the smaller of the two crescent moon post hoops.
I start with Argentium silver wire and bend them into gentle curves. Then I shape the wire into crescent moons and fuse them together. I add a post, and then a little sparkle with a natural gemstone drop.
The silver is 2.0 cm by 1.5 cm. And with the little accent the lengths range from 2.8 to 3 cm long.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
I hand make all the earwires and posts with Argentium Silver, so all my earrings are nickel-free.
