I form this ring from solid Argentium silver with a smooth, flowing shape. At the center, I bezel-set a green amethyst with a checkerboard cut. The antique finish deepens the silver tone and highlights the soft movement of the design.
This ring works well for larger sizes. In addition, it suits a first finger without feeling bulky.
Design & Feel
The design feels calm and fluid. At the same time, the wide front gives the ring strength and balance. Because the band narrows at the back, it stays comfortable for daily wear. As a result, the ring feels substantial but easy on the hand.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This step raises hardness and slows tarnish. Afterward, I set the stone and apply the antique finish.
About the Stone
Green amethyst begins as natural purple amethyst. Through heat treatment, the colour shifts to a soft green tone. Therefore, the stone offers light, clarity, and a gentle presence.

This ring is a size 13.5. The wide front supports the stone. However, the narrower back improves comfort.

Argentium 940 has a bright white tone and strong structure. In addition, it tarnishes more slowly than traditional sterling and is nickel-free. The antique finish is permanent and does not need polishing. A soft cloth is enough for care.
