Hanging Willow Leaf Pendant – Argentium Silver 940
Description
This Hanging Willow Leaf Pendant captures the graceful movement of a willow branch in silver. I shaped each leaf from Argentium silver, alternating between hammered textures and polished finishes for contrast and shimmer. The pendant hangs from a large bail, designed to fit a heavier chain or cord if desired.
Design & Feel
The layered leaves move gently and reflect light differently as you wear it — some bright and mirror-smooth, others softly textured. The effect is simple, natural, and fluid, much like sunlight filtering through willow leaves. The piece feels airy yet strong, with a long vertical form that flatters any neckline.
Argentium Heat & Finish
The pendant is heat-treated to activate the germanium oxide layer that strengthens and protects Argentium silver. Afterward, I polish and texture by hand, allowing the alternating finishes to create natural contrast and balance.
