Hawk’s Eye Pendant – Argentium Silver Marquise
Description
This Hawk’s Eye Pendant features the deep blue shimmer of natural Hawk’s Eye, the blue form of Tiger Eye. I cut a marquise shape from a solid sheet of Argentium silver, then carved a smaller marquise opening to frame the centre. The added square band detail gives the pendant structure and contrast.
Design & Feel
The clean geometry of the marquise shape pairs well with the subtle movement of the stone. The back-set bail keeps the front lines uninterrupted and balanced, letting the design hang neatly. This pendant reflects the strength and precision of the STRUCTURE collection.
Argentium Heat & Finish
After shaping and soldering, I heat-treat the silver to harden it and build the protective germanium oxide layer. Then I polish the surfaces for a bright finish that enhances the angles and form.
