Freeform Circle Earrings – Argentium Silver – Double
These Freeform Circle Earrings – Argentium Silver – Double feature medium hollow boulders formed from layered Argentium wire. I shape each irregular circle first. Then I wrap and fuse additional silver until the forms become solid and permanent.
Before closing the circles, I wind them through each other. However, I do not attach them. As a result, the two boulders move freely while remaining interlocked. The open centres keep the design light, while the fused texture adds depth and sparkle.
Each pair is handmade from solid Argentium silver. Because the boulder shapes are built individually, every set develops its own character.
