Kyanite Ring – Size 8.25 – Argentium Silver Lunar Band
🌙✨ SKY DESIGN
I shape this Lunar Band ring from solid Argentium silver. While the silver is soft, I melt and work the surface to create the irregular lunar texture. I then add a smooth silver wire edge, which frames the pattern and gives the ring a clean finish. At the center, I bezel-set a cushion-cut square cabochon kyanite.
Each lunar surface forms differently. As a result, every ring has its own pattern.
Design & Feel
The lunar texture feels organic and expressive. At the same time, the framed edge adds structure and comfort. Because the band is wider at the front and narrower at the back, the ring feels balanced and secure on the finger.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This step raises hardness and slows tarnish. Afterward, I set the stone and give the ring a final polish.
About the Stone
Kyanite has a deep blue tone with natural variation. In addition, the cabochon cut enhances its soft glow. I chose this stone for its colour and calm presence.
Fit & Sizing
This ring is a size 8.25. The wide front supports the stone, while the narrower back improves comfort. However, textured bands can feel different than smooth bands.

Materials & Care
This ring is made from solid Argentium 940 silver. Argentium silver has a bright white tone and increased hardness. In addition, it tarnishes more slowly than traditional sterling and is nickel-free.
