Lapis Pendant – Argentium Silver Twigs
Description
This lapis Argentium silver twig pendant features a natural rectangular lapis cabochon set in a clean bezel. I form two silver twigs by hand and place them beneath the stone. Then, I solder a bark-textured panel on top to build depth and contrast. As a result, the pendant balances clean structure with organic detail. A tube bail completes the design and supports a substantial chain.
Design & Feel
This lapis Argentium silver twig pendant feels grounded and natural. The rectangular lapis adds strength and clarity. Meanwhile, the twig and bark textures soften the geometry. Because of this contrast, the piece feels balanced and alive. It sits flat and wears comfortably.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because I use Argentium silver, I heat-treat the pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer. This step increases hardness and slows tarnish. Afterward, I set the lapis in its bezel. Finally, I polish the surface for clarity and shine.
About the Stone
Lapis shows deep blue colour with natural variations. These markings confirm the stone’s authenticity. Therefore, each pendant is one of a kind.
