Lapis Earrings – Argentium Silver Hammered Sun
These Lapis Earrings – Argentium Silver Hammered Sun feature a solid Argentium silver open circle formed into a sun shape. I cut and shape silver wire, then fuse the joins to create a continuous circle. After flattening the form, I apply a hand-hammered texture to enhance light reflection.
Because the circle is open, it represents the sun. Meanwhile, the hammered surface creates subtle movement and sparkle. I suspend a lapis teardrop beneath the sun to introduce deep blue contrast. Handmade, nickel-free Argentium silver earwires complete the design.
The open sun keeps the earrings balanced and airy. However, the lapis adds depth and grounding. As a result, the design feels structured yet fluid.
