London blue topaz earrings – wax seal – 36.75 carat – Argentium silver

A 36.75 carat pair of London Blue Topaz gemstones.  Tis pair is cut in a slightly cushioned rectangle, with a checkerboard facetted surface.  They were mined in Brazil.  The boulder setting is a solid piece of Argentium with the edges rolled with heat.  And then prongs are carefully soldered in place to perfectly surround the London Blue Topaz.

Earrings are 5.2 cm long by 2.5 cm wide.  They weigh 19.1 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935.  It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added.  Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish.  And it is always nickel-free.
