London Blue Topaz Earrings – Argentium Silver Sail Over Sun
These London Blue Topaz Earrings – Argentium Silver Sail Over Sun feature a hollow sun beneath a sculpted silver sail. I form the open circle sun first, then refine and texture the surface for light reflection. Above it, I shape the sail so it appears to catch wind and rise upward.
Because the circle is hollow, it represents the sun. Meanwhile, the sail creates movement and direction. Beneath the layered silver forms, I suspend a faceted London blue topaz teardrop. As a result, the deep blue stone adds clarity and contrast against the bright silver. Handmade, nickel-free Argentium silver earwires complete the design.
The composition suggests the sun setting beneath a full sail. However, the clean lines keep the structure balanced and wearable.

I form and texture the hollow sun first. Then I shape the sail and attach the gemstone before assembling and polishing the final piece.
