This London Blue Topaz pendant in Argentium Silver draws from the look of an ancient wax seal. Each melted boulder form is shaped by hand. A brilliant-cut London Blue Topaz sits in a smooth bezel. Its deep blue tone glows softly against the antique finish.
Design & Feel — Wax Seal Pendant
Each melted boulder – also called a “wax seal” – is handmade from Argentium silver that I have melted and shaped while the silver is still hot. I melt solid Argentium silver until it is soft but not fluid, and then, using a jeweller’s pick, I guide the metal to resemble a historical wax seal surface. After it cools, I solder the bezel on and smooth the edges. The antique finish then settles into the textures and adds contrast. Because of this process, every pendant takes on a slightly different shape.
About the Stone
This London Blue Topaz is round and brilliant-cut. It shows deep teal tones with bright silver flashes. When the light moves, the gem shifts from ocean blue to dark sky. The bezel keeps the stone secure while reflecting its colour back into the metal. As a result, the pendant feels balanced and calm.
Chain & Fit
The pendant hangs on a sterling silver bead chain. The chain also has an antique finish that matches the pendant. Because of its shape, it wears easily with any neckline. It also moves smoothly against the skin, giving a comfortable, even weight.

Each wax-seal pendant begins with molten silver. I shape and cool it before refining the surface. After soldering the bezel, I set the gemstone and apply the antique finish. Then I polish the raised edges to bring out soft light beside the deep blue Topaz. Because each piece is handmade, every pendant develops its own natural character. Finally, I inspect the finish so the texture and shine stay in perfect balance.
