Lunar Rectangle Pendant – Argentium Silver – Long – Antique
Description
This Lunar pendant features a long rectangular form shaped by hand from solid Argentium silver. I melt the silver until it reaches a soft, workable state. Then I use a pick to create a cratered surface that echoes the texture of the Moon. Each pendant forms individually, so natural variation is part of the design.
Design & Feel
The elongated rectangle gives this piece a clean, vertical line. At the same time, the Lunar texture keeps it organic and expressive. Because of this contrast, the pendant feels balanced and understated. The antique finish deepens the surface detail and adds a quiet, timeworn character.
Argentium Heat & Finish
After shaping the Lunar texture, I heat-treat the pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer in Argentium silver. This process increases hardness and slows tarnish. I then apply a permanent antique finish. It never needs polishing and only requires an occasional wipe with a soft cloth.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.
