Lunar Marquise Pendant – Argentium Silver – Antique
Description
This Lunar marquise pendant is formed by hand from solid Argentium silver. I melt the silver and shape it carefully until the surface begins to resemble the Moon. The marquise shape gives the pendant a long, fluid line, while the lunar texture adds depth and character. I finish the piece with a permanent antique surface that never needs polishing.
Design & Feel
The Lunar texture feels organic and expressive. Subtle rises and shallow craters catch the light softly beneath the antique finish. Because of the elongated marquise form, the pendant feels elegant yet grounded. It hangs lightly and has a quiet, celestial presence that works well for everyday wear.
Argentium Heat & Finish
After shaping the texture, I heat-treat the pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer in Argentium silver. This step increases hardness and slows tarnish. I then apply the antique finish, which settles into the lunar texture and highlights the surface detail. The finish is permanent and requires no polishing.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.
