Lunar Teardrop Pendant – Argentium Silver – Antique
Description
This Lunar teardrop pendant is shaped by hand from solid Argentium silver. I melt the silver until it reaches a soft, workable state. Then I use a pick to form a cratered surface that echoes the texture of the Moon. Each pendant is made individually, so no two surfaces are ever the same.
Design & Feel
The teardrop shape gives this pendant a gentle, flowing line. At the same time, the Lunar texture adds depth and character. The antique finish settles into the surface detail and brings out the moon-like texture. Because of this balance, the pendant feels calm, organic, and quietly expressive.
Argentium Heat & Finish
After shaping the Lunar texture, I heat-treat the pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer in Argentium silver. This process increases hardness and slows tarnish. I then apply a permanent antique finish. It never needs polishing and only requires an occasional wipe with a soft cloth.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.
