mountain pendant
Each mountain peak is handmade from Argentium silver that I have melted and shaped while the silver is still molten. I use solid Argentium silver – melted until just before it is liquid – and then using a jewellers pick I play with the silver until I have a mountain range with valleys and peaks. Once the silver is cooled and cleaned, I then file the mountain base into a gentle curve. Next I make an Argentium silver ring for Mountains to nestle into. And attach a tube bail for the chain.
Each pendant is hand made – not cast – so the mountains are different and unique every time.
The pendants range from 2.3 to 3.3 cm long – by 1.8 to 2.8 cm wide.
The weight ranges between 2.6 to 4.7 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
