Pearl Blister Necklace – Argentium Silver Freeform Circle
Description
This Mabe’ Pearl Blister necklace is built around a freeform circular shape made in solid Argentium silver. I shape the silver by hand, allowing the form to remain open and organic rather than perfectly round. A natural blister pearl sits within the silver, becoming part of the structure rather than a separate element.
Design & Feel
The LAND design group reflects grounded energy and natural form. In this piece, the irregular silver circle contrasts with the soft surface of the pearl. The result feels strong, calm, and sculptural. Because the form is freehand and the pearl is natural, each necklace has its own character. The piece has weight and presence, yet it wears comfortably and sits balanced on the body.
Argentium Heat & Finish
After forming the silver, I heat-treat the necklace to activate the germanium oxide layer in Argentium silver. This step increases hardness and slows tarnish. I then refine the surface so the silver remains clean and durable while holding its organic shape.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.
