Pearl Blister Pendant – Argentium Silver Full Moon
Description
This Full Moon Pendant is one of our largest pieces. I melt Argentium silver and move it with a jeweller’s pick to create a Lunar texture. When the metal cools, I smooth and polish the raised areas so they shine like moonlight.
Design & Feel
The design feels calm and balanced. A large blister pearl rests on the Lunar surface, glowing softly against the silver. Because of its size, the pendant looks strong on a Collar or Omega chain. It can also be worn long for a more relaxed style.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I heat-treat the silver to form the germanium oxide layer that strengthens Argentium. This step hardens the surface and slows tarnish. After heating, I polish the edges to catch the light while leaving the texture deep and soft. The contrast gives it quiet depth.
About the Stone
A blister pearl grows inside the shell and stays attached to the mother of pearl. Since it never separates, it can be shaped and polished while keeping its glow. This oval pearl has natural shine and warm tone. I set it firmly onto the silver panel to create a full moon effect.
