Pebbles Pendant – Argentium Silver Oval – Antique
Description
I build this Pebbles Oval pendant from solid Argentium Silver 940. Hollow pebbles are shaped and then fused onto an oval ring. Bands of silver are added between layers to create structure and contrast. As a result, the composition feels balanced and dimensional. Because each piece is handmade, every pendant shows slight variation.
An 18″ Sterling Silver twisted box chain is included.
Design & Feel
The oval frame creates a strong outline. Meanwhile, the layered pebbles soften the shape. In addition, the silver bands introduce rhythm across the surface. Therefore, the pendant feels grounded yet fluid. Light moves across the raised forms and deepens the texture.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I use Argentium Silver 940 for clarity and strength. Then I heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This process increases hardness and improves tarnish resistance. After heat treatment, I refine the surface to deepen the antique contrast.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.
