quartz with lunar bar earrings
A clear Quartz in a rectangle cut. This Quartz is 35.4 carats with a checkerboard surface, IF quality (internally flawless) and mined in Africa. I made a lunar design by melting the Argentium silver and moving it around while liquid, until it looks like the surface of the moon.
These earrings are 4.8 cm long by 1.6 cm wide. They weigh 11.0 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
I hand make all the earwires and posts with Argentium Silver, so all my earrings are nickel-free.
