Quartz Pendant – Argentium Silver Rapids
Description
This pendant features natural, raw quartz in a freeform rectangular shape. The stone remains in its organic state. I bezel set it into a large, solid Argentium Silver 940 frame. Therefore, the raw texture contrasts with the refined silver surface.
The rapids design flows around the quartz. As a result, the pendant feels strong and fluid at the same time.
A 24″ Sterling Silver 2.5 mm round box chain is included.
Design & Feel
The raw quartz creates a bold focal point. Meanwhile, the flowing rapids form adds movement. This contrast brings together texture and motion. Because the stone is uncut, it reflects light in a natural way. Consequently, the pendant feels powerful and elemental.
Argentium Heat & Finish
I use Argentium Silver 940 for clarity and strength. Then I heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This process increases hardness and improves tarnish resistance. After heat treatment, I refine and polish the surface to achieve a clean, bright finish.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.
