The Argentium Silver Rapids Bangle Small Antique channels the energy of fast water. I melt pieces of Argentium silver until they flow together, then I sculpt a turbulent rapids pattern with bold ridges and bright highlights. Next, I fuse silver wire along the edges to frame the design smoothly. After shaping the circle, I polish and tumble for strength and shine. Finally, I apply the antique black finish so the texture pops with clear contrast. Because I craft each step by hand, this bangle feels solid, weighty, and alive with motion.
Design & feel
I build this piece for presence and durability. First, I create the rippled surface through controlled melting. Then I add the fused edge wires, which keep the profile comfortable while reinforcing the form. After that, I form and fuse the join for a seamless, strong circle. As a result, the bangle wears with confident heft and a deep, sculptural look. The Rapids texture is more turbulent than Waves—extra pebbled, extra dimensional, and visually bold.

Materials & care
I craft this bangle from Argentium 940 silver, valued for its brightness and natural tarnish resistance. I apply the antique finish directly to the solid Argentium; it’s permanent, so you never need to polish it. Simply wipe with a soft cloth after wear and store dry.
Learn more (making process)
I finish the Argentium Silver Rapids Bangle Small Antique with clean fusing rather than soldering. Therefore, the joins stay strong and the lines remain crisp. The antique finish settles into the valleys and lets the raised ripple pattern glow—like white water moving over rock.
