Rapids Pendant – Argentium Silver
This is the Rapids design pendant, the most turbulent of the WATER forms. First, I melt and move the silver to create strong surface texture. Then I refine the shape to contain the motion. The surface holds intense movement, while the outline keeps it controlled. Finally, I polish the piece to a clean, bright finish.
Because the texture forms while the silver is molten, the ridges rise and fall naturally. Therefore, light catches the high points sharply. As a result, the pendant feels active and alive. Although the size is compact, the surface carries dramatic energy.

This pendant feels powerful and kinetic. The raised textures suggest rushing water. Meanwhile, the solid form anchors the design. Because of the bright finish, reflections remain crisp and clear. It reflects the bold motion within the WATER collection.

I melt and manipulate the silver surface before refining the overall shape. Then I solder the bail and prepare the surface. After heat-treating the piece to increase hardness and improve tarnish resistance, I polish the surface to achieve a clean, bright finish.
