Rapids Pendant – Argentium Silver Long Rectangle
This pendant is handmade in Argentium Silver 940. I melt the silver and then shape it with a pick while it is still fluid. As the surface moves, a rapids pattern forms naturally. I then shape the piece into a long, elegant rectangle. As a result, the texture flows along the full length of the pendant.
The design belongs to the WATER collection. Therefore, the surface feels fluid and alive. Light moves across the raised ripples, while deeper areas create shadow and contrast. Because the form is narrow and elongated, it sits cleanly against the neckline.
The pendant comes with an 18″ Sterling Silver box chain.

The long rectangular shape creates a quiet vertical line. Meanwhile, the rapids texture adds movement and energy. This contrast gives the piece strength without heaviness.

I create this piece by melting the surface of the silver and moving it with a steel pick to form the rapids texture. After shaping the rectangle, I refine the edges and polish the surface to highlight the flow.
