💧 WATER DESIGN

Design & Feel
I melt and shape solid Argentium silver to form the base. Then I fuse granules and small pieces of silver to build a turbulent surface. The wide front gives the ring strong presence, while the back tapers for comfort. The antique finish settles into the low areas and brightens the high points.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I then heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This treatment raises hardness and slows tarnish. After the heat work, I apply the antique finish and polish the raised surfaces for clarity and shine.
Antique Finish
Argentium 940 has a bright white tone, strong structure, and slower tarnish than traditional sterling. It is nickel-free and holds fine detail well. The antique finish is permanent and does not need polishing. A soft cloth is enough for care.
