Each Bark ring is built by hand from solid Argentium 940 silver. I begin by forming a sturdy base, then layer molten bits of silver until a bark-like texture emerges. The process creates a band that feels weighty, organic, and grounded. This version features a horizontal layout with a wide front, giving balance to the large gemstone.
About the Red Topaz
The gemstone is an 18-carat square-cut Red Topaz with a checkerboard surface and IF (internally flawless) clarity. It has undergone hydrothermal treatment to achieve its vivid, saturated red tone. Set in open prongs, the gem catches and reflects light from all sides, glowing with rich fire and depth.

I melt and add silver layer by layer to build the texture of bark. Once the pattern feels balanced and alive, I refine and polish the high points to catch the light. The Red Topaz is then prong set to lift its brilliance above the textured surface. The result is a bold, elemental ring — grounded, radiant, and full of energy.
