The Ruby Ring Size 6.75 Argentium Silver Waves combines movement and depth. I crafted this piece in flowing lines of solid Argentium silver, shaped to echo the rhythm of water. The large 10.23-carat ruby, marquise-cut and cabochon-polished, glows with a deep inner warmth against the bright silver.
Design & feel
Each curve of the Waves band was formed by hand, then hammered to catch light at every angle. The soft undulating edges make the design fluid and alive. I polished the interior to a mirror finish, so the wide front still feels smooth and balanced on the hand.
About the stone
This ruby is unusually large, with natural inclusions that give it character and depth. The cabochon marquise cut shows off its translucent glow, while the silver bezel keeps the gem secure without interrupting the shape’s graceful flow.

I shaped the silver band by hand, hammering it to create the soft wave pattern, then fused and refined its surface. After heat-treating to strengthen the germanium layer, I set the ruby in its bezel and polished the final form to a clear, mirror finish. The result is a ring that feels both fluid and strong — a study in contrast and motion.
