Rune Pendant – Gebo – Argentium Silver Wax Seal – Antique
This pendant features the Gebo rune, linked to the origin of the letter “G.” Gebo means “gift.” Therefore, the symbol represents generosity and exchange.
Gebo stands for the act of giving. It also reflects hospitality, fairness, and interaction on all levels. Because true exchange requires both giving and receiving, this rune speaks to balance. On a spiritual level, it may represent a gift offered or received. As a result, Gebo carries meaning rooted in harmony and mutual respect.
All of my rune pendants are based on the Elder Futhark writing system. Germanic peoples used this alphabet from the 2nd to the 10th centuries, and it later influenced our modern alphabet.

I form the wax seal base by melting Argentium Silver 940 and shaping it while hot. Then I create the Gebo symbol from square wire and solder it to the surface. After gently doming the piece, I deepen the antique contrast and polish the raised areas to highlight the rune.
This pendant comes with an 18″ Sterling Silver bead chain with an antique finish.
Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.
The antique finish is permanent and never needs polishing.
