This natural Smoky Quartz, mined in Africa, weighs approximately 13 carats and features an oval checkerboard cut. The deep, translucent brown shifts in tone with the light, revealing subtle golden undertones. Each Waves ring is hand-shaped, fused, and refined to echo the movement of water in metal. After forming, I heat-treat the Argentium to activate the germanium layer for brightness and tarnish resistance. The Smoky Quartz is bezel-set by hand, and the surface is polished to highlight the smooth, flowing contours unique to each piece.
