Finished Edge Spinner Ring – Size 8.25 – Argentium Silver
🔨 STRUCTURE DESIGN
This spinner ring combines precision with movement. I build the main band in heavy Argentium silver and hand-etch a linear texture across the surface. Then I solder two square-wire end rings to frame the design and hold the spinners securely in place. The finished edge gives the ring a clean, intentional outline.
Design & Feel
The contrast defines this ring. The linear texture on the main band stays crisp and architectural. Meanwhile, the two spinner bands add motion and interest. One spinner uses a square hammered texture. The other uses twisted wire. Together, they balance structure with detail. The ring feels solid, controlled, and purposeful, yet the movement keeps it engaging.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I then heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This treatment raises hardness and slows tarnish. After the heat work, I refine the surfaces and give the ring a final polish for clarity and shine.
Fit & Sizing
This ring feels substantial and secure on the hand. The wide band distributes weight evenly, which improves comfort during wear. The finished edges feel smooth against the finger.

Learn More (Making Process)
I form the main band to width and thickness, then hand-etch the linear texture. Next, I fabricate and solder the square-wire end rings. After that, I make and fit the two spinner bands so they move freely. Finally, I heat-treat, refine, and polish the ring.
