Swiss Blue Topaz Pendant – Argentium Silver Rapids – 1 Carat
I form this pendant in solid Argentium Silver 940. First, I melt the silver and move it with a pick while it is liquid. As it cools, the surface develops into a flowing Rapids design. This is the most turbulent expression within the WATER collection. Then I set a brilliant cut 1 carat Swiss Blue Topaz into the movement of the silver.
The textured channels catch light at different angles. As a result, the pendant feels active and directional. Moreover, the vivid blue topaz adds clarity within the turbulence. This pendant comes on a sterling silver 1.2 mm bead chain.

This piece reflects motion and intensity. The Rapids texture suggests force and transformation. In contrast, the structured bezel setting provides balance. Therefore, the pendant carries strength within the WATER collection.

I melt and shape the silver to create the turbulent Rapids texture. Then I refine the edges and solder the structure. After that, I bezel-set the Swiss Blue Topaz securely in place. Finally, I heat-treat the piece to increase strength and improve tarnish resistance.
