I form this Rapids pendant in solid Argentium Silver 940. First, I shape the flowing structure to suggest moving water. Then I set a 0.75 carat Swiss Blue Topaz within the design. The stone sits securely and catches light against the textured surface.
The antique finish deepens the channels and highlights the raised lines. As a result, the silver reflects light with contrast and depth. Moreover, the vivid blue topaz adds clarity within the darker tone. This pendant comes on an 18″ sterling silver 1.15 mm box chain.

I cut and shape the flowing Rapids structure from heavy silver. Then I solder the elements together and refine the lines. After that, I set the Swiss Blue Topaz securely in place. Finally, I heat-treat the piece to strengthen the metal and deepen the antique contrast.
