Swiss Blue Topaz Ring – Size 12.75 – Argentium Silver Double-Band – 9.5 Carat
🔨 STRUCTURE DESIGN
I build this round double-band ring from two solid bands of Argentium silver. Between them, I bezel-set a large oval Swiss blue topaz. I hammer the bands flat, which adds sparkle and creates a clean, modern profile.
The ring is wide at the front to support the stone. However, it narrows at the back to reduce bulk and improve comfort.
Design & Feel
The double-band structure feels strong and stable. At the same time, the narrowed back makes the ring surprisingly comfortable. As a result, the design supports a large stone without feeling heavy.
Argentium Heat & Finish
Because this ring is made with Argentium silver, I then heat-treat the piece to activate the germanium oxide layer. This treatment raises hardness and slows tarnish. After the heat work, I set the gemstone and give a final polish for clarity and shine.
About the Stone
Swiss blue topaz is known for its bright, clear colour. In addition, its clean blue tone pairs well with structured silver designs. I selected this stone for clarity, colour, and balance.

This ring is a size 12.75. The double-band form spreads weight across the finger, which improves comfort. However, wider rings can feel different than narrow bands.

I form and hammer the two bands first. Next, I build the bezel and fit the topaz precisely between them. After that, I heat-treat the silver, set the stone, and polish the ring for a clean finish.
