The Tanzanite Ring Size 7 Argentium Silver Granules design draws inspiration from the raw textures of rock and flowing earth. I’ve set the oval Tanzanite horizontally so it follows the curve of your finger, creating a bold yet balanced line. Granule accents flow around the bezel like small rapids, giving the surface a natural, elemental feel. The antique finish deepens the contrast and enhances every ridge of texture.
Design & feel
Each Granules ring is formed in Argentium 940 silver to honour the solid strength of stone. I melt bits of silver to create organic details, which fuse together into unique shapes. Because of the ring’s horizontal orientation, it feels wide in presence but slim in fit. The darkened finish settles into the lower textures, bringing the high points forward with a soft glow.
About the stone
Tanzanite is prized for its shifting tones of violet and blue. In this design, the gem reflects a deep, oceanic hue that changes with the light. Set sideways, the stone catches brightness along its length and adds movement to the sturdy silver base.

Each Granules ring begins with molten silver, shaped and fused by hand. I form the base, add each granule individually, and then heat-treat the metal to activate its germanium layer for brightness and resistance. After setting the Tanzanite, I oxidize and polish the surface until the peaks shine and the depths stay dark, echoing the texture of stone.
