🏔️ LAND DESIGN
The Tanzanite Boulder Ring in Argentium Silver combines the strength of stone with the calm glow of light. Each silver boulder is fused by hand, forming a wide textured band that feels both solid and balanced. The violet-blue Tanzanite adds warmth and quiet brilliance to this grounded design.
Design & Feel
Each ring starts as individual circles of Argentium 940 silver. I lay them out, fuse them together, and build more layers until the surface feels full and natural. Once complete, I frame the edges to smooth the shape and give it a clean outline. The wide front carries weight, while the gentle taper keeps it comfortable to wear. The fused boulders create a rhythmic, sculptural form.
About the Tanzanite
This cabochon-cut Tanzanite weighs about 9 carats. Its violet-blue tone changes with the light, showing both depth and clarity. The bezel setting holds it securely, protecting its edges while keeping the surface smooth. The gem’s cool colour contrasts beautifully with the bright silver, creating a calm but striking balance.

Materials & Care
Made in Argentium 940 silver — bright, tarnish-resistant, and nickel-free. The Boulder form provides durability, while the silver’s germanium content helps it stay bright longer than traditional sterling. Learn more:

Making Process
I fuse the silver boulders one by one, adjusting placement to create texture and movement. After refining and framing the band, I shape the bezel to fit the Tanzanite exactly. Once the ring is polished and heat-treated to strengthen the surface, the gemstone is set by hand. This final stage joins colour, structure, and shine — a piece that feels both grounded and luminous.
