Turquoise Pendant – Argentium Silver, Brass – Antique
I set a freeform Turquoise cabochon in a hand-formed brass bezel. Then I secure the bezel onto an Argentium Silver 940 backplate. After that, I add silver granules across the surface. I hammer them flat to create texture. Finally, I apply an antique finish to both the pendant and the chain so they match.
Because the Turquoise is freeform, the outline remains organic. Therefore, the brass bezel follows the natural curves of the stone. Meanwhile, the flattened granules create subtle contrast against the darker surface. As a result, the textures feel layered yet grounded.
Design & Feel
This pendant feels earthy and solid. The brass brings warmth. In contrast, the Argentium silver adds strength and clarity. Although the textures are detailed, the composition remains balanced. It reflects the steady presence of the LAND collection.

I form the brass bezel by hand and fit it closely to the Turquoise cabochon. Then I solder the bezel to the Argentium silver plate. After adding and flattening the granules, I refine the edges. Finally, I deepen the antique finish to enhance contrast and preserve detail.
