water ring – antique
The Water design – I melt the silver edges for a soft, fluid look. Then melt some bits of silver into granules – which I use as Pebbles on the beach. Next I bend some silver waves. I lay them all out and fuse them all together for a full Water design. The next step is to form this panel into a ring and fuse the ends. Then the polishing and cleaning – and ready to go!
These bands range from a size 6.25 to a size 11.5.
The weights range from 4.5 – 6.6 grams.
And the widths range from 0.6 cm to 1.0 cm.
The antique finish is an extra step, making the entire ring black and then polishing the surface for the contrast of the shiny against the dark. I really love to do this finish with Water rings – it just seems to suit the design so well. (my own favourite ring is an antique water design – I wear it so much and never have to polish it!)
WATER * I Change * FLOWING FORMLESSNESS – Transformative – Playful – Balance – Passionate
Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with germanium added. Argentium silver is whiter, harder, slower to tarnish, purer (nickel-free) and has a higher silver content of 935 (sterling is 925)
Other sizes or stones may be available. All of our rings are handmade – so no two rings are ever the same.
All of our jewellery is solid Argentium silver – the antique (black) finish is applied to the Argentium and is permanent – and you never have to polish it.
